Yeah, the Irish love Bud - it's an 'import' to them, like how we think of Heinekin or....Guiness! Although they are obsessed with their Guiness too. I drank Smithwick's over there (pronounced Smid-icks, as you've probably already discovered) and they told me only tourists drink Smithwick's.
